Ringing of the Dover Church Bells

Antique Auto Show & Parade (at 2:00) - Militia Field across from Library 

Hounds and horses from the Norfolk Hunt Club arrive after 1:45 to lead the parade.

Please vote for the Best Car in Show!              Visit the hounds.

12:30– 2 :30 PM

Lunch on Town Green – with Captain Marden’s Cod Squad

Noon – 4 PM  

Sawin Museum – 80 Dedham Street

An exhibit highlighting the Society’s collection of Quilts and Samplers.

McGregor McGehee will provide musical entertainment.

The café will be open selling historic cakes and other goodies.

Noon – 4:00PM

Caryl House and Fisher Barn– 107 Dedham Street

Spinning and weaving on the newly restored Caryl House loom with Barbara Provest.  Knitting demonstration by Janet Comiskey-Giannini.

2:30 PM  

Architectural Historian Anne Grady 

will speak on Getting to the Core of the Matter: Dendrochronology at the Caryl House. "Her talk is supported, in part, by a grant from the Dover Cultural Council

Checkers Champion -Come match wits with past state champion Richard White .

1:45 – 2 PM 

Norfolk Hunt Club Hounds and horses from the arrive to lead the parade

4:15PM 

Ceremony for Disposal of Unserviceable Flags - American Legion Hall

Bring an old and tattered flag for proper disposal.

5:30PM 

Old Fashioned Grange Supper - American Legion, 32 Dedham Street

Hand Carved Ham and Turkey with Bean Supper catered by Dover raised Geoff Janowski owner of Blue Ribbon BarBQ!  Come one come all  -  $12 for adults and $8 for seniors and children.
